Meet Patches! This handsome pup was born 8/21/2024. He’s a medium-sized flat-coated black retriever/labradoodle mix. His coat is smooth & short with less “beard” than his siblings. Patches is about 40 pounds and may grow a little more, but will probably be no larger than 50 pounds. He is very outgoing and curious; he’s also a big talker. Patches was the leader with his triplet sibling pack, always the most confident! He also gets along great with the other household dogs, currently a grand total of 8. He is crate trained, very food motivated, and listens well. You will have his undivided attention when he knows a treat is involved. He was the first to master sit and has been great with house training. Patches loves to cuddle with his humans and go everywhere the family goes – except stairs. He’s not a fan of stairs yet, even watching the other dogs he refuses to try. He has been on regular car rides, going to children’s school for pickups as well as grocery trips, and does great. He has been raised from birth around older kids, with the youngest age 7, but has not met any toddlers/babies. Patches knows some commands: no, sit, stay, down, outside, kennel, but he needs a devoted family who can continue to provide consistent training.

Patches is neutered, up-to-date with 1st year core vaccines, including rabies, heartworm negative and on Heartguard monthly treatments.
