My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bowie! She's a perfectly spunky, one-year-old girl who makes an excellent office mate. She was found left behind in a Burlington apartment and the animal-loving manager made sure she wouldn't end up on the streets all alone. Bowie has come a long way since being rescued; she was very frightened and cautious of humans at first but with gentle care and patience, she has shown her softer, more playful side. Her face and that one little freckle are irresistible, not to mention her squeaky meow that sweetly asks for your attention. She enjoys cat nip, string toys, chasing small toys and napping on the desk.
Bowie seems unbothered by gentle cats, but more reactive or territorial cats would not be a good fit for her. She would do best with someone who will take the time to get to know her and let her get acclimated on her own schedule. Bowie loves hanging out with her foster dad while he works, but she's ready to find her own person and continue her journey to live her best life possible.
