Sweetie was 11 months old when I adopted her from Animal Rescue of the Rockies on 3/27/22. She is a cuddley, playful cat who loves curling up in my lap. She also loves curling up with flowers and plants on the balcony of my apartment. She was an outdoor cat prior to her rescue by Animal Rescue of the Rockies, and she has been strictly an indoor cat since coming to live with me in 2022. Sweetie is a strong-willed cat who can be a handful at times. She instantly becomes alert when I get near the refrigerator. When I open the refrigerator door she charges across the floor and leaps onto any available shelf. After several months of this behavior, I figured out that my practice of bribing her with a snack to exit the refrigerator is what motivated her naughty behavior. Be prepared for a very smart cat who will work hard to get your attention and earn treats.
