Here's what the humans have to say about me:
“It’s just the most amazing thing to have the love of a dog!" And Snoop will be such a loving, devoted part of the family lucky to take him home!
Snoop is ten years old and weighs 42 pounds, so he's a fine choice if you want to adopt a medium sized companion. He still has, as the saying goes, plenty of pep in his step, and is a great combination of active and chill.
Why we love him: Snoop is an absolute sweetheart and quickly became a favorite of our staff and volunteers. He is so congenial and good natured and such a happy-go-lucky dog. We love spending time with Snoop!
One of our volunteers reports: "Snoop is a joyful, tail-wagging aficionado who believes every day is the best day ever. At ten years old, he's the embodiment of happiness, always ready to greet you with a wagging tail and a big smile. Snoop is affectionate and loves people. Snoop prefers to choose his canine companions carefully. He's looking for a home where he can share his boundless enthusiasm and perhaps be the only dog to soak up all the love."
Another volunteer observes: "We walked Snoop and he was was a fun loving boy who took treats from my seven year old very politely and gently. He liked running and getting pats and just overall enjoying the outdoors, sunshine, and cuddles."
A third volunteer says: "Snoop is adorable, cheerful, friendly to children and is easy to walk."
Snoop is a bright dog who wants to please and should do well mastering any commands you wish to teach him. He has already learned to sit and offer his paw for you to shake.
Snoop has had so much fun on outings with some of our shelter volunteers. Riding in the car is one of his very favorite things.
Snoop is such a good dog and a joyful presence!
If you can open your heart and your home to a very dear mature dog, please come and meet Snoop! He would love to spend his golden years with a family and will be such a fun and devoted companion!
We are so grateful to Joel Alexander for his beautiful photos of our dogs.
