Ruffles and Truffles are an absolutely adorable, bonded pair, with fun personalities to compliment their super cute looks. Both boys are very sweet and friendly, and love to be with people. They both enjoy cuddly lap time, especially Ruffles, who will spend endless time just sitting calmly in a cozy lap being pet. They get along with other dogs, and Truffles also likes to play with toys, other dogs and just be silly.

Both boys are Shih Tzus. Ruffles is black, about 9 years old, and a petite
8 pounds. Truffles is tan, about 7 1/2 years old and about 16 pounds. This fantastic pair is incredibly delightful to be with, and have very heartwarming qualities. Submit Application

The first step in adopting from Shih Tzu Rescue is to fill out an application on our website at shihtzurescue.org

2.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Once your application has been approved we will schedule an appointment for you to visit our shelter and dogs and take home with you.

Additional adoption info

We have an adoption contract that must be completed and approved. We require vet and personal references as well home checks. Our normal response time is approximately 7 to 10 working days. Our Adoption Committee works very hard to place our dogs in environments where they will be most likely to succeed. Please understand that we have more applications than we do dogs and that if you do not hear from us within that timeframe, we currently do not have a dog who we feel would match your needs.

Our fee includes neuter or spay, all shots, and snap test for heartworm/erlichia/lyme. We take care of whatever their medical needs might be before they are adopted. WE ADOPT TO ALL OF FLORIDA AS WELL AS OTHER STATES. WE DO NOT SHIP
