Here's what the humans have to say about me:
🐾 Meet Duke: Your Future Best Friend!
Duke is an incredible pup with a personality as big as Texas! This cheerful, sweet boy is on the hunt for a loving family to call his own. His goofball charm will brighten your home and fill it with laughter.
Duke is a social guy who gets along well with other dogs—but he appreciates a proper introduction and some adjustment time to make new furry friends. His furry foster sister became his BFF after a couple of weeks, and now they're inseparable!
People? Duke adores them all! He's well-behaved, crate-trained, and housebroken. His daily needs include Apoquel for skin allergies and a prescription diet for his sensitive tummy.
Duke thrives on outdoor adventures like walks, yard play, and fetch - unless it's raining. He's not interested in going out when it's wet.
Be ready for his playful attempts to chase bunnies, which makes a kitty-free home his ideal environment. While he’s generally good on a leash, he’s a strong boy who will pull hard when something exciting catches his eye.
After all the fun, Duke’s favorite pastime is snuggling up on soft beds, couches, or anywhere cozy. He’s a true cuddle expert and is ready to become your loyal, loving pal.
Bring Duke into your life, and you’ll gain a big-hearted friend who’s ready to share endless joy and affection.
We require an application to be completed prior to setting up a meet-and-greet. We do not offer "on-the-spot" adoptions. We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis. We do our best to match dogs with families that will be a good fit to help ensure a successful adoption. We reserve the right to decline any application for any reason.
Due to the nature of our adoption process, our fosters are usually only able to consider forever families within a reasonable driving distance of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. A vet reference is required, and a trial period will be completed before finalizing the adoption. Thank you for your understanding.
