Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jedidiah came to us from a local animal control when he and 8 other cats lost their home when their owner died. Clearly all of the cats were loved and very well fed. But no one could take them all in, so AAC took three off of the euthanization list to find them homes. They had nowhere else to go.
Jedidiah is our shyest fellow, but he has never once shown any form of aggression. We believe that once in a safe, indoor home, he will blossom quickly. He has been through a lot and just seems confused and scared more than anything. He likes to be pet, talked to and know he is loved. Treats and time are going to be the way to his heart. Right now he is in an outdoor pen (like a patio) at our sanctuary and we’d love to see him in an indoor home as soon as possible as that is all he has ever known.
We are looking for a patient family or person who will give him time to adjust. We also will consider a foster-to-adopt situation or if you would consider being a foster home for AAC. Even fostering one cat saves a life.
Everyone at AAC has quickly fallen in love with our Jed and just know his furever family is out there. He is SO good with all the other cats he has been around, so would do great in an existing cat home. He also would do great with one of his housemates or as your one and only. He is estimated at four years old and is fully vetted and ready for his new life.

For the safety of our cats, a home visit is a requirement of adoption or fostering, but we make this as unobtrusive as possible. Our Cat Adoption Team is small but mighty and we have very limited physical space. So when you adopt Jedidiah, you not only save his life, but open up a precious space for another cat desperate for a shot at life.
