Ranger is an incredibly cute ball of cottony fur that climbs into your heart with a wag and a kiss. What isn't clear in this awful shelter photo is how truly beautiful this dog is with his stunning coat and dark eyes that speak of wisdom beyond his years. Once this gorgeous dog gets a sudsy bath and grooming, he will absolutely be one of the most beautiful pups around.

At approximately 18 months old Ranger is a perfect age..old enough to be past babyish behaviors and young enough to be easily trainable with many, many healthy and active years remaining. At 33 lbs, Ranger is a perfect size to accompany his family just about anywhere a sweet and engaging medium sized dog is welcome.

Ranger is every bit the young guy...fun, active and silly once comfortable in his environment. But at the same time he is soo sweet, engaging, very loving and a perfect full-time companion. Ranger is very likely to express himself with his wagging tail and excited kisses of love for those who are kind to him.

At this early point in Ranger's development, he loves almost everyone be it human or canine. We want to nurture this positive vision of the world by matching Ranger to a family who expresses their devotion for him in many different ways. We'd like Ranger to attend virtual or in-person positive reinforcement group obedience classes to be the very best adult dog he's capable of being. We also feel Ranger would be most comfortable with an adult family or one with older, dog-crazy kids as we wouldn't want tail pulling or awkward handling by very young children.

Right now, Ranger is a blank slate who will soak up positive feedback with every effort to be the best behaved and most cuddly guy around. He is so loyal that he can easily be a constant companion. This sweet guy would love nothing more than being together enjoying and learning from his family. Trips to the store (he's a great window-shopping friend) or a place on the couch for movie-watching with belly rubs would be perfect for Ranger's very sweet and kind personality.

Ranger has the stunning coat and cottony-soft hair that speaks of his breed mix. He will therefore require a lifelong commitment to periodic sudsy baths / brushing and excellent nutrition (a daily supplement of salmon oil and 5 star food will be excellent choices for Ranger's coat care and longevity) to keep his hair cottony-soft and shining with good health.

Ranger has been fully vetted, vaccinated and neutered to fulfill Farfel's commitment to adopting out only healthy dogs that won't contribute to the overpopulation tragedy within the canine population
