My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Phoebe and Phineas are a bonded pair! Phoebe is a beautiful long-haired lady, and her brother Phineas is a very handsome short-haired gentleman. We think together they make the perfect pair of kitties

From their foster parent:
Phoebe is so sweet and loving. Right from the beginning she would jump right onto our laps and ask for pets. She even goes so far as to give kisses! She loves to get right up in your face and give kisses over and over, especially right on your lips! lol. She follows me everywhere and her favorite place is to sit on the cabinets next to the kitchen sink and watch me do dishes or prep dinner. She is very polite and will occasionally ask for a nibble of what I’m fixing. One time I left some sliced cheese unsupervised on the counter and needed to step away for a moment. She snatched a whole piece and took off running. I followed her only to find that she had searched out Phineas, to share the piece of stolen cheese with her little brother! ❤️ We took her in first, alone, as Phineas had gone to another family initially. When that didn’t work out, he came to stay with us. She was sooooooo excited to see him again, you could see the change in her! You could instantly tell they were bonded and family!

Phineas came in to our home like a tiny ball of energy! He was not shy, not one bit, and settled right in! He is curious, smart, adventurous, and brave! He leaps and rolls from place to place, looking for the next fun thing to do! We had a scare with Mr Phineas about a week after he came to stay... I came home one day to find him lethargic and hiding in order to keep to himself. After rushing him to The Care Center we found that he had an abscess which had burst in his neck/cheek area, they guessed from a prior bite/scratch. It was so sad to see our fearless Phineas so down! He was the bravest boy, charming all of the staff while they treated him with IVs, oral medications, and all sorts of healing practices. When I picked him up 2 days later, he had *just* about returned to his former glory! The one thing that never change was how loving he is! His favorite place is sitting on my lap, or even up on my chest, being petted and talked to! He follows me around as well, never too far away at any given moment!
It became very clear that Phoebe and Phineas were bonded when reintroducing them to each other, first when they were separated from being rescued, and then again with Phineas’ hospital stay. Each time they would greet each other like long lost best friends/siblings, taking turns washing each other, smelling the new smells, and filling each other in on the adventures each had while they were apart! Phoebe is constantly checking on Phineas... we refer to her as his Fierce Protector! She will stand by his side guarding while he eats and drinks, and we often find them curled up together as they nap.
We would love to see them adopted together, to give them a chance to truly grow up as best friends and siblings! ❤️

Included with the adoption are the kitties' spay/neuter, all applicable birth-to-one-year FVRCP, FeLeuk and first round of rabies vaccinations, deworming, flea treatment, a wellness check, FIV/FeLV combo testing, and microchipping. In addition to being fully vetted, our cats and kittens are highly socialized. We offer a 2-week getting acquainted period and a 2-week wellness guarantee, so you can comfortably settle in with your new kitty! Please note, young kitties do best with another kitty in the household.
