Sweet Emmy has found herself in rescue after presenting with litter box issues . After several vet trips and tests to rule out illness and crystals this SUPER affectionate girl has been placed on anxiety meds. Her previous home was with dogs, and her foster home is with cats so it’s believed that this girl just needs to be an only child where she can be the center of your world. She has responded well to the transdermal meds ( rubbed in the ear)and is ALWAYS down for ear scrinches. Her ideal home would be as an only pet with someone allowing her to be the queen that she is. An approved application will be required to schedule a meet and greet. This girl is a SNUGGLE expert, shy at first but once she has decided you are her person the snuggles are plenty !

We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm. Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.

Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only.

Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.

MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation, wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.

Making Miracles Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing dogs and cats from shelters across Michigan. Based in Utica, Michigan, we operate as a no-kill, foster-based rescue. Although we don’t have a physical facility, we rely on compassionate foster families who open their homes to pets in need until they find their forever homes.

Our primary mission is to save as many dogs and cats as possible, regardless of breed or age. We firmly believe that senior pets deserve just as much love and care as puppies and kittens—and we’re passionate about finding loving homes for them all.

We’re also committed to promoting responsible pet ownership by encouraging spaying and neutering to prevent unwanted litters and reduce the number of animals in need of rescue.
