Elvis is a chihuahua/dachshund mix who was living with 15 of his closest friends when his owner asked for help caring for him and surrendered him to rescue.

His special smile is due to a cleft palate which does not interfere with his food or treat intake! He likes dogs and kids and may be a little too interested in cats. Its kind of a dachshund thing. He is crate trained, confident, and loves being held and giving kisses.

He would love to be adopted into an active family who can keep his high energy personality engaged and has a fenced yard for zoomies.

WE ONLY ADOPT LOCALLY WITHIN A 2 HOUR RADIUS OF THE TRICOUNTY AREA. ***Exceptions may be made for seniors or hard to place dogs.

If the animal is under the age of 3 years old or has health issues, a vet reference is required which means you must own a pet or have owned a pet in your name.

Adoption fee of $325 covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip heartworm test and treatment if needed and any other medical that may be required while in rescue.

We only do adoptions on Saturday and not all animals are able to attend so if you would like to see a specific animal please let us know so that we can make arrangements for it to be present at the event. Event locations do vary so please check the homepage to find out where we will be this week. Please do not ask us to reduce adoption fees since all fees help us to cover medical expenses for all of our animals, some of which can be very expensive. Saving lives is not cheap so thank you for your understanding and helping us save as many as possible.
