River is a 3 year old 80 lb Australian Shepherd mix who is losing his home through no fault of his own. One of the kiddos in his home has been battling allergies and testing for 3 years now, and sadly dog allergens have been identified as one of the main culprits. River has grown up in a loving family with young kids and another dog. He has a playful spirit and loves to play tag, fetch and loves toys of all shapes and sizes. He doesn't have typical Aussie hearding tendencies, but will need a little basic training with jumping on people when greeting etc. River has a sweet demeanor and will lean up against your leg or bow to show affection. Did we mention he loves belly rubs? River is well mannered around the home and is both potty and crate trained. The best type of home for River would be one with a yard, he would love another pooch to pal around with, and someone who is large breed savvy and enjoys taking their dog on adventures.

Adoption fee is $400 and includes neuter, microchip, vacicnes/flea treatment/deworming current. Apply at www.lovebugsrescue.org
