My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Odyssey is a cute one-year old female Tortoiseshell kitty who was found on North Hart Street in Marietta Ohio after she had crawled into the engine/hood compartment of an automobile. on the morning of March 25, 2025. Fortunately, Odyssey was not injured, and she was brought to the HSOV to keep her safely out of harm's way.

Odyssey has a black/orange/beige short smooth coat in a tortoiseshell pattern, a long tail, and a beautiful face with an orange stripe on her muzzle/forehead, golden eyes, a black velvet nose, and long white whiskers.

Odyssey was given vaccinations, wormer, and flea treatment on March 27th. She weighed 3.8 lbs that day.

This little lady has a sweet, easygoing personality.

These photos were taken late in the afternoon on March 27th while Odyssey was enjoying some gourmet wet food. She was quite polite and looked up for a few quick photos but really wanted to get back to her food.

Odyssey will be held for three days so that her family will have a chance to reclaim her with proof of ownership. In the event that she is not reclaimed, we will have her spayed and find her a fabulous home.

Update: Odyssey was spayed on April 22, 2025 and was also given rabies vaccine. She weighed 4.6 lbs that day.
