Meet Starlah! She was rescued near Castaic as a stray, very pregnant. She gave birth and raised her pups in foster care. Now she is available for adoption!

Starlah is a very sweet girl. She loves cuddles and enjoys being cradled in your arms. She has a really cute underbite and loves back scratches! She also loves walks and is great with other dogs. She has the funny tendency to bark hello and goodbye.

She would do best in a home with only women, or a family willing to give her some behavioral training when it comes to her interacting with men. She can be reactive and protective.

Starlah is loves tummy rubs and walks! She's also very playful and really enjoys fetch. She's doing well with the potty training, we take her outside every 2 hours and there has been no accidents in the house so far. She has a great appetite, and tries to sneak food during mealtimes. She also gets very curious around ducks, birds, and horses-likely her beagle instincts kicking in! Starlah sleeps well in a crate, and especially loves snuggles on the bed.
