My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*Indoor only*

Don’t be fooled by Matt’s majestic mane--he is about as low-maintenance as they come! While Matt does require brushing, it’s one of his favorite ways to pass the time. He also loves getting pet, which is good news, since you’ll hardly be able to resist his silky coat.

He loves playing with little mouse toys, will come to you for treats or food, and even takes lap naps. Matt is ready to find his furrever home with anyone who wants a patient and friendly guy to move into their sunniest window.

Adoption fee of $100 includes spay/neuter, FIV and FELV combo test, up-to-date rabies and dis-temper vaccinations, deworming treatments, flea treatments, and microchip.

More about this rescue

Shadow Cats TNR (SCTNR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to assisting animals in need. Our mission is to establish and manage programs for the welfare of community cats, companion animals, and pet owners needing assistance, in collaboration with other community partners, rescue groups and shelters.

We specialize in controlling the community cat population through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). As a result of the TNR process, we often acquire, along with feral cats, friendly and semi-friendly cats and kittens. We work to place these cats into appropriate homes through our adoption and barn cat programs. SCTNR seeks to educate the public on the importance of spaying/neutering all pets as well as controlling the cat populations in our county.
