"Friendly, cuddly, spotted" -- that's how his foster sum up Herbie. He's a sweet, affectionate, young boy, who's looking for a family to just snuggle and love him! He wants to be as close to his human as possible, ideally in your lap, and he also loves climbing up high and seeing his world from above. He loves being held and falling asleep in your arms, and he looks at you like a puppy -- curious...and a little cautious, still learning the world.
You wouldn't know that Herbie had a rough start: He was abandoned in a backpack in a park in Brooklyn -- scared and all alone. Luckily, some passersby immediately cared for him and reached out to us. Now Herbie is ready for his true forever home.
Herbie is about 10 months old, neutered, vaccinated, free of fleas and parasites, and negative for FIV/FeLV. We think he'd do well with a friendly cat buddy, but he can also be solo as long as het gets a good amount of attention and enrichment as a young cat.
If you're interested in meeting Herbie, please go to our application here: https://brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms/, then identify SUSE as the rescuer and fill out the form!
Thank you for thinking of a rescued angel! Every dime goes to save another homeless kitty on the street.
