Keep in mind, we are two women with full time jobs, we volunteer to run this Rescue and foster these dogs in our homes. We have families and farms of our own we take care of as well. We will give you all the time we can but, ask for your patience and attention to detail to make the application process flow smoothly and as quickly as possible.
Sabine is a rescue from a overcrowded small rural shelter out of cedar City, Utah. We are aging her at 5-6 years. We have had her spayed and brought current on vaccines. She's a 23 lb Terrier mix of some sort. I really think she looks like a toy Bull Terrier if they came with a wire coat lol.. Dhe's a very quiet reserved girl. I think she's had a very hard life. She's afraid of everyone, but does allow you to approach her and pick her up. She's great with other dogs with a gregarious outgoing, playful personality, but growly one she's growly back with. She doesn't seem to mind the cat at all. Because of her fearful nature. I don't think she would be a good candidate for a home with children. She has some anxieties and hyperactive behaviors like WH Foxes can, if you know you know.... Overall, she's a very kind, sweet dog, who needs a patient, quiet, understanding home. I do think she would do well in a home with other dogs, for confidence. But she would also be fine as an only dog. We've started her crate training and housebreaking and she's doing well with supervising and regular outside time in the yard.
