Meet Edith and Amos, a bonded pair of senior Rottweilers who are the perfect combination of sweetness, playfulness, and love. These two are inseparable, and life is just better when they’re together! With their affectionate nature and happy-go-lucky personalities, Edith and Amos bring joy to everyone around them. Whether it’s cuddling on the couch, playing together, or just hanging out, these two are always by each other’s side, ready to share their love with the world.
Edith:
Edith is the playful one with a big personality! She’s full of energy and always up for a game or an adventure. She loves to be the center of attention, but her affection knows no bounds and she doesn't know her size. She wants to be in your lap at all times. Whether it’s a cuddles or a game of fetch, Edith is ready to enjoy the moment and share her joy with everyone.
Amos:
Amos is the more laid-back of the duo, with a calm and loving demeanor that draws people in. He’s all about the snuggles and enjoys being close to his humans. He might be a little more low-key, but his sweet and gentle nature is nothing short of heartwarming. He would love to flop over and get belly rubs in the sun all day long.
What We Love:
Cuddles: Both Edith and Amos are cuddle enthusiasts, and they’ll happily curl up with you for hours of love and relaxation.
Playtime: They’re still young at heart and enjoy playing together—whether it’s a game of fetch, a romp in the yard, or just running around with excitement.
Affection: These two love nothing more than being close to the ones they love. They’ll happily shower you with affection and enjoy every moment of attention.
Looking For:
A home where they can stay together and continue to be the sweet, playful, and loving duo they’ve always been. Edith and Amos thrive on each other’s company, and they’re looking for a family who will give them the love and care they deserve in their golden years.
Fun Fact:
Edith and Amos are proof that love knows no age. Despite their senior status, they’re still full of life, and their bond makes them stronger than ever. These two will fill your heart and your home with warmth and affection.

We hope you meet your four-legged love at SPCA Florida! Our goal is to help you find a companion that best suits your household. We have wonderful animals available and a great deal of information to share with you.
Adoption Process
When you arrive at the Adoption Center we invite you to take a look around and meet the animals. We encourage you and your family to spend time with each pet you are interested in to see which is the best fit. Our trained staff and volunteers are happy to answer questions about the animals and provide you with whatever background information we have regarding that pet. Please keep in mind we do not always know all of the adoptable animals’ history or background depending on how they arrived at SPCA Florida.
If you currently have a dog at home we recommend you bring him or her in to interact with your potential new dog.
When you find a pet you would like to adopt the next step is to fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed with you by one of our trained counselors. The counselors will answer any questions you may have. If the pet is already sterilized he or she can go home the same day, otherwise the surgery is normally scheduled the next day and the pet can go home the day of surgery.
Adoption Fees
Adoption fees vary depending on species, breed and age. The fee includes:
•Spay/Neuter surgery for unsterilized pets

•Cats are dewormed, tested for feline leukemia and feline aids and receive vaccinations for feline distemper, rhinotracheitis, calici virus and Rabies
