Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bonnie is a senior lionhead bunny of around 8 years old. She is spayed, fully litterbox trained, and has been an indoor free roam bunny for her whole life.
Bonnie spent the last 8 years with a devoted human who adored her and provided her with excellent care. Unfortunately, Bonnie's human passed away recently and her world turned upside down.
Bonnie's human's adult daughter cared for her after her mother's death, but is unable to permanently keep her and reached out to us in the hopes that we would find Bonnie an indoor-only free roaming home like she's accustomed to.
Bonnie is grieving the loss of her human and confused about these big changes in her life. Despite it all, she is extremely sweet and gentle. She may be a senior, but she's active and thrives being able to free roam indoors.
She came to us matted and recently received a full shave down. As a lionhead she will need frequent grooming in her new home.
With proper care, Bonnie can live another 4-6 years. She has not lived with other bunnies but could be a candidate for an older bunny friend. We hope that someone with a soft spot for seniors will give this girl her happily ever after!
