Houdini the Heart-Stealer Escape artist turned cuddle queen
Hi! I’m Houdini—and no, I won’t disappear on you, unless it’s into a cozy blanket or behind a curtain during playtime. I got my name back when I was living the outdoor life, doing the whole TNR thing (see my cute little ear tip?), but those days are behind me now. My old stomping grounds got a little too risky, so I’m on the lookout for a forever home that’s full of love—and maybe a bit of catnip.
I’m still really young and already thriving inside. Honestly? This whole indoor thing is pretty great. I get snuggles, toys, and catnip—did I mention catnip? Big fan. Huge. But I’m open-minded and could do the indoor/outdoor life again with the right, safe setup.
I’ve only been here a short time, but everyone keeps saying I’m the “total package.” Friendly, playful, social, and sweet as can be. I love kids, too—they’re fun and just my speed. I’d make a purrfect addition to any family looking for a lovable little goofball with a big heart and a tiny tipped ear.
Come meet me—I’ll be the one making everyone smile! An adoption application can be filled out on the DHS website https://www.dekalbhumanesociety.org/adopt. Dog adoption fees are $250.00 for all puppies and adult dogs. Seniors are a donation of choice. Cats and kittens are a donation of choice.
