Returned to Purr Paws at 10 years of age

Hello there! I'm Miss Priss. My owner decided to get a dog when I was 10 years old and after I'd been the only animal for 10 years. I just couldn't adjust and my mama gave me back to the rescue group. I was traumatized and then I had to move back to a foster home with a bunch of cats. My foster mom was patient with me and I finally began trusting her and then my foster dad.

So basically I'm hoping to be given a second chance for a forever home. I love to be petted and brushed and talked to. Of course, I need a home with no other animals. Maybe someone who'd like to have company and a kitty to love them back. I'm very gentle and sweet once you've earned my trust. Someone I can share my little life with... maybe grow old together!â¤ï¸

We do have an application, which can be filled out online on our website, or in person at an adoption location and then a contract upon approval.

Kittens under 1 year old: $100
A pair of kittens under 1 year old: $150

Cats over 1 year old: $50
A pair of cats over 1 year old: $75

Black or Black/White Cats over 1 year old: $25
A pair of Black or Black/White Cats over 1 year old: $40

We hold adoptions on most Saturday's at Petsmart Cypress (Hwy 290 @ Spring-Cypress) from Noon to 4pm.

More about this rescue

Purr Paws Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3). We are a foster based rescue, meaning that we do not have a shelter. All of our cats and kittens live with their foster families until adoption. We are a no-kill rescue, meaning that we do not euthanize for space. Quality of life is important to us.

Purr Paws Rescue is always looking for new foster homes and volunteers to help with adoption days, transport, and the adoption center at Petsmart Cypress.
