Kovu doesn't have long before he is heading to a shelter that is inundated with dogs. This is a courtesy post for the family. Unfortunately, we just don't have room right now in our Rescue program as we are also inundated, but we wanted to get his sweet face out there to some potential doctors.
Kovu is named after a character in the movie Lion King. He is approximately 60 pounds and is to believed to be a border collie and lab mix. Kovu is six years old, but you would think by his activity level that he's more like two. He's extremely athletic and agile. He does jump some, but he jumps up softly. He knows Sit and he is house trained. He gets along with the other dogs around him, so that's a good start!
