My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Randall is one of our puppies that was left in the tote at our vet clinic. Under the loving care of his foster family he has blossomed and has become a true social butterfly. He absolutely loves the company of other dogs, regardless of their size. So a playful companion at home is a must. He’s also well-trained to use a doggie door and is making good progress in potty training with only occasional accidents. When he’s not playing or exploring, he loves to snuggle and cuddle up with his person. Fenced in yard preferred and would do best with older children. Included in each adoption: age appropriate shots, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery. Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful animals, we ask that you please fill out our online application: https://form.jotform.com/223268341300041 We are a 100% volunteer organization and have to work other jobs to pay the bills. Adopters must agree that pet will be a family member living inside, no cat declawing, all animals must be spay/neutered and we will always take an animal back if adopter is ever unable to keep it.

More about this rescue

Rosalie and Friends was created out of the President's dedication to help the under dogs and cats. She has taken in and rehabilitated the sick and injured for years. Late 2022 a well respected animal 501c3, Friends of the Escambia County Animal Shelter, dissolved and turned the organization over to Rosalie and Friends. We have assumed responsibility of several programs from them, to include sponsorship for heartworm treatment of animals adopted through the shelter. We also provide medical assistance for shelter animals and have a fospice program to get senior pets from the shelter and into loving homes through end of life. Our logo is "Fospice and fixer uppers" but that has not stopped us from helping others that cross our paths.
