My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Val! I am a beautiful flashy fawn 7 month old girl that has had it rough but is now flourishing in my foster home! Prior to coming into the rescue, I was hit by a car which shattered my back leg which led to it being amputated. But if you ask me, I have no idea it's gone and functions just fine without it! I am a happy girl that is friendly with all dogs from 5 lbs to 90 lbs! I am also cat friendly and don't even realize they're in the room nor am I bothered by them! I am house trained, doggy door trained, and crate trained! Although I am crate trained, I have wonderful behavior and do not have to be in it and am trusted to freely roam the home. Even though I am still a puppy you would never know because I am a perfect lady in the home and my favorite pastime is taking naps on the couch. I have spurts of playtime with toys and the humans in the home. My foster mom says due to me having great manners with the humans, I would do well with any type of family, small kids, big kids, no kids, senior citizens, etc; pretty much anyone that will love me and give me attention! My only downfall is I have a happy tail and will swing it and unintentionally hit you with it. Additional adoption info

1. Fill out an Online Adoption Application

2.Your application will be reviewed and sent to a volunteer in your area. The volunteer will contact you to schedule a home visit within one week. There is a $25.00 fee for a volunteer to come to your house for a home visit. This fee is non-refundable, but will be applied to the adoption fee when the adoption is finalized.

3. After your home visit is complete and you are approved you can begin meeting dogs. The person who met with you during your home visit will assist you in this process.
