I HAVE AN OUCHIE HEALING ON MY TAIL, SO PLEASE DON`T TOUCH THE END OF MY TAIL! EXTREMELY SWEET AND FRIENDLY BOY IS TIMID AS HE TAKES HIS TIME TO MAKE SURE HE CAN TRUST YOU, LOVE BUG AFTER THAT. WILL LOVE A FAIRLY CALM HOME! ADORES PEOPLE THAT SWEET-TALK AND ARE GENTLE WITH HIM. BEST WITH KIDS OVER 6 YRS. HAS BEEN GREAT WITH OTHER CATS. NO DOGS! GREAT AS ONLY PET TOO! I`m always the sweetest love-bug that wants to be held and carried and cuddled. Even though I`m shy, I will be trying very hard to get to know you and give you lots of chances to show that you love me! In a new place, I`ll probably hide some, but come out often to see you when you`re in the room. Especially if you`re calling for me. You`re likely to hear me call for you too! I`ll stay with you longer each time! I may be under some furniture or behind the couch, but I`m also happy to be in a soft hut or bed with high sides in a quiet corner. My favorite place here is the raised bed on legs with a soft cushion with sides and blanket on top. If you have blankets on the furniture or a cat tree, you`ll start seeing me there, so talk to me and approach slowly, I`ll be very happy to see you, and probably get up to meet you! Seeing me out is also great because I`m the shiniest cat you ever saw! I was already starting to play with a spinning butterfly and the toy moving under a sheet, both from Amazon, on the second day at the shelter, but I don`t usually play much. I`ll sometimes play with my little toys, and I will try to play with wand toys with someone patient. Maybe someday I`ll want to play more. I do seem to be a lot more brave when someone is in the room. Once we`re friends you are going to get SO much attention as I`m following you and come to rub on you and get loved on, and even talk to you some! I`ll sometimes jump on the counter so I can see you better and make it easier for you to pet me. You might look over and just see me sleeping nearby, enjoying your company. I`m very easy to pick up and carry, I`ll even ask you to. I`m so happy when I`m with you that I`ll probably come cuddle with you at night! I`ve been around the other cats, and out with some here. Some of them have hissed at me. It hurt my feelings as I backed away, but I didn`t get scared and just lay down to show that I`m friendly! I should do very well with friendly, good natured, even loner cats are fine by me. I`m a gentle soul, I would be bullied easily, so they must be nice. I`m easy to please with food and love getting tre

More about this shelter
The Colony Animal Services strives to protect andTCAS LOGO-UPDATED nurture The City of The Colony’s lost, homeless, abused, injured, and sick pets. We seek to provide animals the opportunity to be reclaimed, adopted, rehabilitated, or rescued. It is the mission for the Animal Service Officers and volunteers to pursue a positive synergy and to serve the citizens and pets of The Colony.
Animal Services is committed to saving each and every animal that comes into our care. Over the last few years, we have improved our live release rate to 97%. We hold our standards high at keeping this percentage, and in doing so, we ask our rescue partners and citizens to help us pursue finding our animals forever homes.
Every year, we get over a hundred injured and sick animals that need our help. In order for us to help them, we use our donated medical fund to give them the proper care and treatment they need. The only way for us to provide this needed medical care is through our generous financial donors. Every penny donated is sent to our medical fund. Please help us continue this much needed medical care for our animals by donating. Even if you cannot donate, it is a huge help to share posts on social media.
