I'm big, but I'm also a very gentle girl. I can be shy and a bit fearful in new spaces and around new people. I need a family who will let me take things at my own pace as I learn about new things. Loud noises startle me at first. Once I come out of my shell, I have lots of love and cuddles to give.

I love to be around my people. I would love to take calm walks and sniff around then rest and lie down close to you.

My human friends at the shelter can tell you more.

It's recommended I meet any dogs or kids living in my new home before I'm adopted. Kids over 10 would work out best. I just want to make sure we all get along.

The Humane Society for Southwest Washington uses the following guidelines for adoptions:

1. Adopted animals will be spayed or neutered prior to their adoption.

2. Adopted animals will be placed as companion animals.

3. Adopted animals must be kept in accordance with all local laws and ordinances.

4. All animals leaving the shelter must be wearing identification and restrained by leash or carrier.
