My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to the dazzling PANCAKE, an orange and black tortoiseshell teenager female kitty.  She is super sweet, and on the slightly calmer side when compared to her siblings.  She is likely to sit on your lap and watch the goings on of the house, before joining in on any rough housing.  She loves to snuggle and has a stunning purr.  She rubs her cheek against you, letting you know she is politely requesting more pets.  She has a gorgeous coat, with bright orange stripes on her tail.  It doesn’t take her long to warm up either.  Pancake would be a great addition to any home!  She came to our rescue with her siblings GRAHAM, WAFFLE, and CARL; while she would likely be OK on her own, she would be delighted to be adopted with one of them as well!

Pancake has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners.  You can meet PANCAKE at the cattery inside our partner PetSmart in South Eugene (2858 Willamette St).  Please submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at the store, and an adoption counselor will contact you to set up a meet and greet.  The $155 ($280 for a pair) adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. For more information, send an email to AdoptInfo@CatRescues.org or call 541-225-4955 option 1.  ID  2502-C0026

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters are required to complete our application and contract. It is available on our website: https://catrescues.org/forms/cat-adoption-contract/ A paper copy is available at our adoption sites. Our contract stipulates the requirements for care of our pets. The documents are reviewed by our staff and together with a face to face interview we explore the potential new home. If all parties agree to the specifics of the contract the cat can go home. Adoption fee varies with age of pet.
All pets are current on vaccinations, health checked by our veterinarian, have been de-wormed, treated with flea medication at intake, spayed or neutered, and have been microchipped and tested for felv/fiv tested.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to provide care and find loving homes for cats and kittens of our community, with a focus on those with special needs. Currently we only work with Cats. We offer temporary housing in foster homes until they can be placed through our adoption process. We have adoption centers within both Petsmarts in Eugene, at Chad Drive, near Costco, and 29th and Willamette, at Wags Dog Emporium on Coburg Rd and the Eugene-Springfield Cat Lounge. Cat Rescue & Adoption Network works with humane societies, other animal rescue groups, the public and government animal services agencies to offer them relief from their overpopulation problem. All cats in our custody receive the medical care they need. Cat Rescue & Adoption Network is a non-profit organization. All money raised is used to help Cat Rescue & Adoption Network save as many animal lives as possible.
