Mayo is a petite, one of a kind terrier mix with a stunning red and white freckled coat, copper colored eyes that sparkle with curiosity, and ears so big they could almost take flight!

At just 10 months old, she's already proven herself to be a resilient little lady, though life hasn’t been easy—she’s been bounced around shelters, searching for the love and security she’s never truly had.

Here at the shelter, Mayo can be a bit wary of strangers, but once she decides you're one of the good ones, she’ll melt your heart with her sweet, affectionate, and loyal nature.

She’s the kind of pup who thrives on trust and consistency and is ready to offer her lucky forever family a lifetime of tail wags and snuggles.

Mayo just turned 10 months old, is spayed, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, and kept on prevention here with us.

Mayo is dreaming of an active, friendly, and loving home with people who can offer her the stability and patience she needs to fully blossom. While her feelings about other dogs, cats, and young children are still unknown, older kids might be a better fit for now to give her time to settle in and decompress.

Our adoption fees include the pets spay or neuter, microchip, up to date vaccines, heartworm/tick disease testing and fecal check. All adoption fees can be found on our groups' Petfinder page.

The first step to our adoption process is to please fill out and adoptions application, it can be found on our website www.serenityanimalhospital.net, under the "Adopt From Us" Tab. Please email the application to adoptions@serenityanimalhospital.net or drop it off in person during our business hours.

Any questions regarding our adoptable dogs can be emailed along with your application. Please allow us a few days to contact you about your application as we do get many in on a daily basis. We will contact you as soon as possible.
