My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ruby Red is in a foster home in Renton, WA.

She is about 2 years old and weighs 50 lbs. She is great with dogs of all sizes, cats and kids. She walks well on the leash and does well in the crate. She came from a small high kill shelter in Oklahoma and is now looking for her happily ever after.

Vetting: spayed, microchipped, heartworm tested (negative), on mothly heartworm prevention, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, dhpp vaccine.

Adoption fee: $450 (her transport cost to get her from Oklahoma to Washington was $250 plus the cost of vetting. Recouping these costs will enable us to get other dogs out of the hell that is Oklahoma)

Oklahoma Licensed Rescue Number 95

Oklahoma is a bad place for animals. It's the only state that saw an increase in shelter euthanasia rates in 2019. 2020 probably didn't look any different. Strays everywhere, people dumping dogs in the country to fend for themselves, litters of puppies and kittens because people are too cheap or too lazy to fix their pets.

We help these poor souls and find them loving homes in northern states.
