Henry is friendly, social and congenial. He seeks the company of his human companion, other pets or kids. Henry wants to hang out with you! He often sleeps during the night with children or is content on a lap while you watch television. When Henry is not on you or by you, he gets a charge out of chasing bugs and tries his best to catch a fly in the air! Henry rejoices in pouncing on the red dot from a laser toy and enjoys pushing the balls around in a cat ball track toy. Henry is obsessed about birds and will be fixated on them from the window. He has an appetite for soft food and kitty treats. His ideal home is with an individual, couple or family preferably with another pet he can have company with as he does not like being alone. Henry does well with other cats and cat-friendly dogs and likes to be near other pets at nap time. He has a black coat with white mittens and white locket. As of March 2025, Henry is 5 months old. His adoption fee is $80.
Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter Pets (FJCASP) is a foster-based rescue for dogs and cats. All pets are in a home environment cared for by a foster person who provides temporary care until the pet can be placed in a permanent home. Friends of Jackson County is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.
