My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

NAME: Sissy

BREED & COLOR: Domestic short hair, orange & white tuxedo
*APPROX*. BIRTH DATE:  11/07/2024

THIS CAT IS LOCATED IN CENTRAL ARKANSAS

*THIS CAT IS NOT HYPOALERGENIC*

LITTER BOX TRAINED:  Yes

ADOPTION INCLUDES:  All vaccinations, dewormed, 30-day flea prevention, FIV/Felv tested, spay/neuter, rabies vaccs, all health records to date.

GETS ALONG WITH OTHER CATS/DOGS?  Sissy is acclimated to cat friendly cats with slow, gradual introductions, which are always needed when meeting new friends.
Sissy’s foster home does not have dogs, but with time, gentle introductions, Sissy would likely be ok with cat friendly dogs.

CHILDREN? Sissy is fine with well-mannered children who know how to respect pets; she loves everyone.

BIO: Sissy is a special gal in so many ways! She’s an orange & white FEMALE; statistically only 20% of orange cats are female! She also has a cute little beauty mark on her face, similar to Cindy Crawford, the supermodel.  Sissy is abnormally calm in situations which are normally stressful to most other cats.  Sissy thoroughly enjoys attention and loves being petted.  She’s one of THE most sociable cats the foster mom has ever fostered.  She was SO well mannered at her first vet visit that the vet stated that if he didn’t already have a cat, that he would adopt her himself.
Sissy’s biscuit making skills are a chef’s dream.  She also enjoys a good cardboard box and catnip toys.  She’s youthful, playful and silly at times, but mature enough to be calm and well mannered.

OUT OF STATE/OUT OF AREA?  CLAWS does not arrange transport or ship. Please be willing and able to personally acquire this pet.

More about this rescue

CLAWS is an incorporated 501(c)3 non-profit organization, operated 100% by volunteers with 30+ years of collective experience. We have a cooperative team of foster homes dedicated to rescue, fostering, healing, spay/neutering cats and kittens, then adopting them into forever homes where they are cherished family members for the rest of their lives.

CLAWS: Cats Lives Are Worth Saving is committed to investing our expertise and resources in order to further achieve our cause. Since 2018, we’ve been supporting our community in a variety of ways and measuring our success not by size, but by more qualitative measurements such as the scale and effectiveness of our efforts.
