This helps Wolf Trap Animal Rescue with pet care costs.
Hi there! My name is Cold Open (I know I know, funny name right?). I am 9 weeks old (as of this post - born 01/07/25). I am the cutest most sweetest stage 5 clinger there ever was! I play until I'm pooped out and then all I want to do is snuggle and . I will do best in a home where one of my humans is with me most of the day, I get so sad when I'm by myself ! Don't let my pictures fool you, some of the angles make me look big but I am only 9 lbs of pure cuteness
There are 4 cats in his foster home, which he does great with. He is getting more and more comfortable around other dogs and gets excited to play when he has the chance. He has also been around children, which he's been wonderful with as well!
He is a very smart boy!! He knows "sit", "stay", "paw", and "no". He is doing SO good on his walks and love all the new sights and smells. He also does great in the car! It was just a matter of finding the right car carrier for him and now he sleeps the whole time without a peep! I started clipping his nails and rubbing his paws to desensitize them. He doesn't mind at all! The biggest problem we run into is just how squirmy he is.
This is the first dog I've fostered and I really don't want to turn into a foster fail already! I would love to find a sweet family to give this boy a lifetime of love because he deserves nothing less!!
Mandatory in person transfer at the Petsmart in Tysons Corner. All Adopters must attend in order to finalize the adoption.
