Cheddar is a charming, chatty one-year-old boy who just can't get enough of human attention. He thrives on affection and is a true cuddle bug. You'll often find him perched up high, enjoying the view as he watches the world go by. Cheddar's superpower is his ability to make anyone feel loved and cherished with just a purr and a nuzzle. He is a beautiful, fluffy lion in disguise, ready to conquer your heart with his majestic presence.

If Cheddar had a job, it would undoubtedly be a professional cuddler. He excels at making anyone feel warm and loved with his fluffy embrace. But don't let his cuddly self fool you, he is also a playful boy who enjoys catnip toys, especially a catnip banana. He loves interactive play and would make a delightful companion for anyone looking for a playful yet affectionate feline friend. During his time in foster care, Cheddar was exposed to other cats and formed friendships with laid-back feline companions. He would do best in a quiet home with someone who is around frequently but also understands his need for alone time. His ideal home would either allow him to be a solo kitty or another kitty with a beta personality cat. He also could do well in a household with older kids who can appreciate his cuddly nature.

You will be emailed a link to our online adoption contract. Simply fill it out online to transfer ownership from the rescue to you!

Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines. We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion!

Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent. We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age. We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
