My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Magenta is a beautiful one-year old female kitty who was surrendered by her owner on February 3, 2025 along with several of her feline friends who had shared her home.

Magenta has a sleek black short-haired coat, a long fluffy tail, and an adorable chubby face with dark golden eyes, a black velvet nose, and long black whiskers.

This fun-loving girl has a lovable, outgoing personality and adores attention. Magenta gets along with other cats and also with children.

Magenta was given vaccinations and flea treatment on February 3rd 2025. She weighed 5.2 lbs that day. Magenta was given Pyrantel wormer and booster vaccines on February 19, 2025. She has been given Panacur wormer during March 2025.

Magenta was spayed on March 17, 2025 and was also given rabies vaccine. She weighed 7.28 lbs that day.

We had taken preliminary photos of Magenta and her companions on February 3rd shortly after their arrival. While those pictures were cute and tugged at our heartstrings, we were anxious to take updated photos after the kitties had been in our shelter awhile and their personalities began to 'shine'.

These updated glamour photos of Magenta were taken on March 19th and March 21st, 2025. Magenta was quite the playgirl and thoroughly enjoyed her out-of-cage time. This young lady is full of playful energy and is an accomplished 'biscuit maker' (smile). Thanks to Volunteer Wendy Jo Irvin for helping Magenta with her photo session on March 19th.

We treated Magenta to a follow-up photo session on March 21st in hopes that she might be in the mood to give us a few relaxed lazy poses .. But Magenta was more interested in exploring new territory and figuring out a way to outsmart the photographer who kept blocking her attempts to aspire to new heights (i.e., the tops of the wall cabinets) (smile)

Magenta is ready to find a loving home either through adoption or rescue .. And even better if she would have another kitty for a playmate.
