We also verify two references, a vet check for up-to-date vaccinations, SNAP test . We verify the property, and if the adopter is renting, we do require that the lease have information regarding an adoption of a pet or speak with the landlord. It is only after the application is approved that people can come in to meet the cats and kittens.

At SCARLI, in conjunction with LICKS, is a nonprofit, no kill Cat Rescue. Our mission is to reduce Long Island homeless cat population, and it is achieved through rescue, recuperation, and adoption of kittens and cats. We provide TNR services to many of the community cats locally.
