Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Linus is one of those little beagles that we LOVE to help. We knew before we went to pick him up that he was fearful of people, but there isn't a mean bone in his body. Even when I had to help catch him at the shelter to get his harness and collar on, he never growled or tried to bite. In fact, when he sees other dogs walk up to people to be petted, you can see he really wants to get in there for some attention, and he will allow a few pets before deciding he just isn't too sure yet about people and will back up. These dogs are the ones we really want to help because we know with a patient, loving family they will become a happy, fun family pet.

Linus really likes to hang with the other dogs in the foster home. He plays with them in the fenced yard and loves spending time on the couch. He also looks dreamily on as he waits for his dinner, so he's already acting like a typical beagle.
Linus is 2 years old and weighs 17 pounds.

He will need another dog in the home and a family who understands that he will take awhile to be comfortable around people.

Linus is HW negative, UTD on vaccines, micro-chipped, neutered and so far has not had any accidents in the house. This little guy deserves a life being part of a family.
