Here's what the humans have to say about me:
A26374 Maggie is a black and white colored, approximately 2 and a half-year-old, 44-pound, spayed female, Pitbull mix.
She entered the shelter as an owner surrender on 03-18-2025 because the owner stated she became aggressive towards their other dog.
Maggie is a friendly, eager and excited girl here in the shelter. She is happy to greet you at the kennel door when you approach. She is jumping up and down in excitement when she sees you. Our staff describes her as a friendly, fun playful girl loads of energy. Saying she would be a great dog for someone that loves to hike and explore the outdoors. She is a little difficult to leash because she is so excited to go for a walk that she is jumping up and down. She does pull in excitement to be out for a walk. She loves people and happily greets everyone we meet during our walks. She does jump up on people for hugs and kisses, so she will need training on her manners. She will also need some command training as well as she does not respond to any commands. She is not a bad girl, just needs a little time, love and attention. She shows no interest in other dogs here at the shelter. The previous owner says she is house broken, and has lived with other dogs, but not cats or children. She did say she became aggressive towards their other dog. Although, we have not seen any aggression to other dogs, a meet and greet is recommended if there is another dog in the home. Maggie will be a fun-loving companion in her new forever home.
