Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Ian! This cute fella came to us when his owners surrendered him. He is a 26lb, 2 year old Corgi that has a great personality! He does well with other dogs especially running and playing in the yard. Ian likes kids; we have not tested him with cats.
He is quirky when food is involved: He will bark at other dogs when he receives a full dish of food. He can be around other dogs when food is present as long as he has eaten. He will bark at the other dogs if they try to get some food but he backs down if challenged.
Ian will need time to adjust to his new home and its expectations. His future family should be aware that pet ownership is a lifelong commitment, requiring daily exercise, ongoing training, and socialization. A tired dog is a good dog!
If you're considering adopting Ian, please DO NOT CALL us. Instead, complete an online application on 4 Paws Animal Rescue's website at www.4pawz.org. We verify the care of past and current pets. Our primary goal is to find the best homes for all our dogs and cats. As such, we reserve the right to approve or deny adoption applications based on what's in the pet's best interest.
