If you are looking for a sweet kitty to be the queen of your household, Oreo may be just the girl for you! Oreo is a 5 yr. old, long-haired, black and white kitty with a presence. She came all the way from Kentucky to find the perfect forever home. She is so, so soft to pet, and is not averse to cuddling with her humans. Oreo's lovely coat will require some special care, brushing and possibly grooming at times, but she will repay you with her love and benevolent spirit.

All of our dogs, cats, rabbits & ferrets are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. Small animals are usually not altered. We have adoption applications, a short interview process, and an adoption fee for each animal. All animals (except rabbits & small animals) are up to date on all shots.

We hold adoption events on Saturdays at Petsmart in Mishawaka from 11-3. We also hold other events throughout the year. You can also contact us directly regarding a pet seen here and we will set up a time for you to meet them in person. Heartland Small Animal Rescue is a non-profit serving South Bend & surrounding cities. We are comprised of a group of dedicated volunteers who work to find loving homes for homeless pets in our area.

Company Overview
Heartland Small Animal Rescue Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization serving South Bend, IN and surrounding towns by taking in homeless pets and adopting them out into loving homes. We also work closely with local shelters to reduce euthanasia rates by pulling animals and putting them in our program.
