Meet Chicken Noodle, a gentle soul with a heart as warm as her name suggests. Just a little over a year old, this sweet Momma cat has already shown more love and resilience than most could ever imagine. She was found on a cold morning, huddled on a kind Samaritan’s back patio, having just given birth to her babies. Despite the heartbreaking loss of three of her kittens, Chicken Noodle has shown nothing but devotion to the ones who survived. With the help of her amazing foster family, all of her babies are now thriving, and Chicken Noodle is ready to find a forever home where she can finally relax and be pampered.
This beautiful girl is more than just a wonderful mother; she’s also a purring machine, always happy to curl up and soak up the attention. Her favorite thing? Getting pets. When you pet her, she purrs like the devil — in the best way possible — letting you know just how much she appreciates every moment. With her sweet, easygoing nature, Chicken Noodle is sure to be the perfect companion for someone looking for love, comfort, and a little extra warmth in their life.

All of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.

ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location.

Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. We understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
