he Gentleman of Your Dreams: Mr. Darcy is Ready to Be Loved!
Mr. Darcy is a 5-7 year old Yorkie mix. He is utd on vaccines, neutered, heartworm negative and microchipped.
Mr. Darcy loves his naps and lots of attention. He’s just the right mix of lazy lap dog and eager companion if you are going on an adventure (or just to pick up a curb side). He sings a sad song when anyone leaves the house without him. He does a cute little jig when it’s dinner time … or breakfast… or for treats! Mr. Darcy gets along well with other dogs, he is crate trained, and house trained. He’s been practicing the dog door but is very gentlemanly and lets all the ladies go first.
Mr. Darcy does have a hernia that doesn’t slow him down any! It is easily managed/requires a high fiber diet because of it. Our vet recommends this route and we can discuss more if you are interested.
Mr. Darcy's adoption fee is $165. If you are interested, please submit your application. Applications are found under the How to Adopt menu on our website at www.myhappytail.org or by copying this link into your browser:

Additional adoption info
We look to match the dogs personality, energy, and size to the potential adoptive family lifestyle and dynamics. A family looking for a calm snuggle buddy is not a good match for a working dog that needs to be walked several miles a day to be content and successful in the home.
