Hello, I`m Gingy. I`m a pretty independent cat, content with my own company. I`ve got quite the voice and I`m not afraid to use it. I love to chat about everything, from the birds outside the window to the delicious dinner you just served me. Don`t be surprised if I greet you with a loud `meow` when you walk in the room. I`m also a great listener. I`ll always be there to lend an ear when you`ve had a long day. I`m quite the character and I`m sure to keep you entertained. More about this shelter

The Windsor/Essex County Humane Society was founded in 1926 and incorporated in 1949. The Humane Society has a publicly-tendered contract with the City of Windsor to provide animal control and basic shelter services in the City. This is only a portion of the work done by our organization. In 2016 almost 12,000 animal came through the doors of our shelter and spay/neuter clinic. We can’t help them without your support.
