My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Josie is a beautiful grey kitten with a playful spirit and a heart full of love! She can be a little reserved at first, but once she warms up, she's a purring, cuddly sweetheart. Josie loves chasing toys, exploring cozy hideaways, and curling up for snuggles when the day winds down. She would thrive in a patient and loving home where she can build confidence at her own pace.
If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate companion, Josie is ready to join your family!
All our cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. Please visit our website to fill out an application:

More about this rescue

Founded in 2020, Friends of Felines Rescue initially began in Rio Linda and now proudly serves both Rio Linda and its surrounding areas. Our mission is simple: to tackle cat overpopulation while supporting local communities. We're all about nurturing and protecting our furry friends by providing loving foster homes for orphaned, sick, and injured cats until they're healthy and ready for their forever homes. We're big advocates for spaying and neutering, not just for our beloved pets but also for our community cat colonies. As a volunteer-driven nonprofit, we're dedicated to the art of Trap-Neuter-Return, lending a helping paw by providing free training on trapping, traps for those in need, and information on low-cost surgeries. We rescue kittens and friendly strays, prepping them for loving families. Our aim? Spreading love and care for our cat friends!
