My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***The first step to adoption is completing the application at www.emmetcountyaminalshelter.org***

Hi I'm Vivianne!  I am vocal girl that knows what she wants and will tell you.  You can see that I'm pretty but you might not be able to tell that I'm also really smart.  The people here say I'm a bit of a Diva and I'm taking it as a compliment!  My friends and I were in a home where there were too many cats for the lady to take care of so a group of thoughtful people came in, got us to a vet and then we made our way here to the ECAS.  I'm ready to go back to a home now though.  I do fine with the other cats as long as they understand I get to call the shots!  I would be fine on my own too.  I feel at a minimum, my next new home must have sunny windows, soft pillows for naps and delicious treats. I am about 5 years old now so I also want this to be my last home so please only apply if we are meant to be together for my forever! I am spayed, up to date on vaccinations, FeLV/FIV negative and I have a microchip too!  As always adoptions fees are free will to approved applicants.  But frankly I feel like I'm priceless!

Go meet their pets

Check out all of our pets online at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org or send in an application to meet a specific pet! Once our shelter is open for operation stop in during our open hours to visit with a fuzzy friend in person.

More about this shelter

The ECAS is an all volunteer, no kill shelter. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pets in need due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or from simply not being wanted! We started in 2010 due to a need in our community. We are currently a foster based organization and we are currently building our new shelter facility. We work hand in hand with other rescue and shelters in the area to help out when and where we are needed.
