My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jeff!
Young, eager to please and a great dog in the making. 85lbs Shiny coat and a healthy weight. In foster care learning new things.

Loves playing with his pig.  Loves squeaky toys.  He’s met my crew several times through out staircase gate and while they were barking at him, he just wagged his tail and was curious.   Met neighbor’s dog through fence and again didn’t exhibit anything other than tail wagging.
Haven’t tried meeting mine outside since he’s so strong and not good on his leash yet.
in basic training now
I think if the parents are savvy about dogs, his size, the kids would be fine. He is gentle, but still has these bursts of puppy energy when he might knock a small kid down unintentionally.
He is doing well with the training, but of course he’s gonna need someone who will continue positive reinforcement obedience training, just to make him a good family member.

More about this rescue

The Four Legged Ranch began in 2015. We are a experienced group of rescuers that have come together as a team to change lives of dogs at risk at high kill shelters. We focus on pit bulls and bully breeds, but we are open to help all breeds. Together we are changing their world and adding a new family member to yours.
