My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dear Patient Human,

Have you ever wished you could be part of someone's incredible transformation story? Well, we're Tabberton (the handsome orange fellow) and Lilith (the stunning calico lady), and we're looking for the next chapter in our journey to becoming brave cats!

*Tabberton here!* I've already discovered something amazing - being petted while eating is actually pretty wonderful! Who knew human touches could be so nice? I'm like a shy artist slowly learning to appreciate his audience. My orange fur might say "bold and dashing," but my heart is still working on catching up to that confidence level.

*Lilith speaking!* While my calico coat is a masterpiece of colors, I'm still painting my way toward trust. I've made huge strides this year - I actually come out to explore now when things are peaceful! Think of me as a rare flower that blooms best in tranquil gardens.

*Together:* We're both young - just about a year old - which means we have so much potential to grow braver with the right person. Think of us as rough diamonds waiting for a patient jeweler to help us shine. We've already proven we can make progress - you should have seen us a year ago!

What we're looking for in our forever home:
- A quiet sanctuary where we can build our confidence
- A patient human who understands that trust is built in tiny, precious steps
- Maybe some calm furry friends (we get along great with other cats and even dogs!)
- Understanding that sometimes love means just being in the same room together
- A peaceful environment where we can continue our journey to becoming brave

While we could technically go to separate homes, we've been each other's courage coaches through this whole adventure. Having a familiar friend makes being brave so much easier!

The best part? You'll get to witness and be part of every tiny victory - the first time we take treats from your hand, the moment we choose to come closer, that magical instant when we first let you pet us. Every small step forward is actually a huge milestone, and sharing those moments with our human will make them even more special.

Are you the calm, patient soul we've been waiting for? The one who understands that the most precious gifts often take time to unwrap? We promise to make every bit of progress worth the wait.

With hopeful purrs,
Tabberton (The Orange Optimist) & Lilith (The Calico Dreamer) ??

P.S. - They say good things come to those who wait. We think the best things come to those who wait with treats and gentle voices!

P.P.S. - Orange boy here again! Just want to mention that mealtime pets are my specialty. It's my way of saying "I'm trying!" ?
