We don`t know yet if she is house trained but she definitely wants to lead the way on a leash with her 58-pound body. Despite her sociable nature, Serena seems to prefer the company of humans over other dogs or cats, making her the perfect pet for a one-pet household but she might not really care if there are other animals in the home. She weighs 58 pounds and Her unique ability to climb can make for some entertaining moments. Serena is not just a pet; she`s a friend, a confidante, and a source of endless joy. CAP adoption fees include a variety of services - age-appropriate vaccinations, canine heartworm, and feline leukemia tests, spaying/neutering, deworming treatment, microchipping to name a few - the total value of which exceeds $450. These minimal adoption fees cover only part of each animal's stay at our shelter - please help us keep adoption fees low while maintaining the high quality of care for the animals in our charge by donating and/or volunteering.

CAP is proud to announce that through life-saving adoption and transfer programs and a lot of hard work, we have maintained a placement rate of over 93% for all homeless pets surrendered to our shelter in 2021.
