My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Xena has a brave heart, she just needs a little time to show it! This shy girl may be a bit cautious at first, but with patience and love, she’ll slowly come out of her shell and show you her sweet, loyal nature. Once Xena trusts you, she’ll be your most devoted companion, ready to stand by your side through all of life’s adventures. She’s looking for a calm, patient home where she can feel safe and build confidence at her own pace. If you’re willing to give Xena the time and love she needs, she’ll reward you with a bond like no other. Could you be the one to give this gentle warrior princess her happily ever after?

Additional adoption info

Come into the Centre and if you see a pet you like, you are able to do a "Meet and Greet" with that pet. Spend some time in alone with the pet or take a dog out for a short walk. If you are still interested in adopting the pet you can meet with one of our Adoption Counsellors who will have you fill out and application and will ask you some questions about the environment in which you live. If you seem like a wonderful match and your envirnoment meets the needs of the pet then your application should be approved!
