Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Name: Jax and Shorty
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Sex: Neutered Males
Age: 2 years / 10 months
Weight: 7.5 lbs each
Bonded Pair
Good with dogs? Not Tested, but their prior shelter reported that they lived with dogs.
Good with cats? Shorty has lived with other cats all his life and is so interested in meeting the two resident cats in his foster home that does not listen to their boundaries. Being put off does not deter him in the slightest and he persists with trying to make friends. He may love being in a house with other friendly, docile cats, or just with his son Jax. Jax has always been with his dad Shorty and mainly seeks out his companionship.
Good with kids? Not Tested, but their prior shelter reported that they lived with kids aged 7-18. Older kids who can respect kitty boundaries should be OK.
Energy level: Medium. Shorty loves balls and chase toys, and wand toys, but needs to play with a wand apart from his son Jax who likes to steal it! Jax likes to wrestle and play, both with Shorty and on his own. Jax is a good napper.
Animal Characteristics: Shorty and Jax are a bonded, loving father and son pair. Shorty likes to be where the fun is and does not want to be left out! Jax prefers a more quiet environment, but is quite playful. Shorty loves having his chin and head rubbed and can be picked up, but does not love to be held for long periods of time. Jax asks to be picked up and absolutely loves being petted. Shorty has some scarring in his right eye and neither cat has a tail. These boys have a variety of adorable traits and are quite the total package!
