**RECLAIMED 3/26/2025**

Loretta is a beautiful 3-year old female Pit Bull Terrier mix who was brought to the HSOV on March 20, 2025 by the Washington County Ohio Dog Warden who picked her up on Second Street in Lower Salem Ohio. Loretta was not wearing a collar, and she was not microchipped.

This lovely girl has a brown short smooth coat with a narrow band of white on the back of her neck, white paws, a long tail, and an adorable face with soulful brown eyes, a liver-colored nose, and large semi-erect ears.

Loretta has a super sweet, easygoing personality.

Several of these photos were taken in December 2024 when Loretta was in our shelter for a few days and was relaxing in the front office shortly. Loretta was loving the attention which she received from everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her that day. A few of the photos were taken on March 21, 2025 in her floor crate since all of the kennels were filled and this was the only available space to house this sweet girl. Loretta still has a super-sweet, easygoing personality.

Loretta weighs 50.2 lbs.

In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Loretta will be held for the mandatory three-day stray hold so that her family will have an opportunity to reclaim her with proof of ownership.

Since Loretta's owner has been identified, she will be held for 14-days so that her family will have an opportunity to reclaim this beautiful girl.

Loretta and her companion Reba were reclaimed late this afternoon (March 26, 2025).
